Convenience and Peace of Mind

For your convenience, we keep records of your keying, allowing us to expand on your existing system without having to rekey the entire facility when changes need to be made.  We also keep signatures on file for all persons authorized to make copies of “Do Not Duplicate” keys, limiting the unauthorized duplication of keys for your business.

Restricted and Patented Keyways

To take your security a step further, we offer our own patented Schlage Everest Primus keyway.  Everest is a new family of patented keyways.  It’s the perfect choice for customers who can’t cost-justify an access control system, but want more security than a system with easily copied keys.  The Everest key has a patented undercut groove that prevents other companies from manufacturing and distributing Everest key blanks. Everest keys cannot be copied by residential mall stands or home centers.

If you are worried about key holders copying keys without your knowledge, we would highly suggest you invest in a restricted keyway.  This is also a great way to deter “bumping” or picking locks.  If you are interested in learning more about restricted and patented keyways, feel free to ask one of our friendly locksmiths for more information.
